The July Edit: What I Read, Loved & Have in My Cart For Fall
A roundup of the little things that made July feel good. One addictive read, favorite beauty finds, and the best dinner spot
Welcome to my July favorites - small things that made the month feel full in the best way.
What I’m Reading (No Spoilers)
I picked up Taylor Jenkins Reid’s new book with full certainty I’d love it. Her writing and pacing are addictive. The premise (space!) gave me pause, but it’s surprisingly intriguing. As she says, “above all, it’s a love story.” I’m not yet in the thick of it, but I can feel it’s going to be a good one.
What I’m Baking on Repeat
Two healthy recipes that passed the test: husband-approved, toddler-approved, even baby-approved.
Blueberry Muffins: Sweet but not from sugar, and they come together in literally 15 minutes. I use a mini muffin tin - they’re as fun to eat as they are quick.
Protein “On the Run” Bites: Perfect for weekends packed with kid activities, busy mornings, or a healthy snack.

Where I Ate (and Loved)
Joomak Banjum – This was a date night to remember. An eight-course tasting menu with impeccable wine pairings and standout cocktails made it feel special from start to finish. The service was warm and attentive, the chef personally greeted guests, and each dish was as beautiful as it was inventive. Even the presentation - those sculptural serving plates - felt like part of the experience. A true insider pick worth bookmarking.

What I’m Using (and Loving)
Heated Eye Mask: A new find that’s key for eye health (even more so if you deal with dryness). It feels indulgent and is perfect for travel - especially when you’re trying to fall asleep on the plane.
This Shiseido SPF Stick: Reapplying sunscreen over makeup is always a nightmare - except with this. No mirror needed, no smudging, just throw it in your bag. I buy these two at a time. 10/10.
Abib Collagen Eye Patches: These are a new favorite—the best part is they don’t slip or slide. They’re slightly thicker, hold their cooling sensation longer, and feel especially refreshing straight from the fridge. After the usual morning chaos with the kids, they’re a small but lovely reset.

What’s in My Cart
As I sense the approach of fall and the end of summer, it doesn’t take much to convince me to start browsing for the season ahead.
Seasonal Jackets: Three are on my radar right now, plus one I already own and love.
The Sea jacket is a real conversation starter (is it a tea cup or a coffee mug?), and “no two are exactly alike.” Music to my ears.

The Perfect Skirt: Ticks two big predictions for fall - lace detailing and espresso tones.
Shoes on My Mind: Fall-ready, but wearable now. The Satin-twill slides slide that feels like the perfect bridge from summer to fall, a sleek sandal that works now and will carry you into next season (and even back to next summer), and this gorgeous Bottega pair I can’t stop thinking about.
